The Samoa Audit Office welcomed Hon. Tuala Tevaga Iosefo Ponifasio, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for the Samoa Audit Office, and his Associate Minister, Hon. Masinalupe Makesi Masinalupe, in a ceremony hosted by the Office that was also an early Father's Day celebration on Thursday 5th August 2021. 

The CAG, Fuimaono Camillo Afele, prepared the welcoming remarks before the Hon. Minister took the podium for his first address to the Samoa Audit Office. Both expressed hopes and intentions to work together with diligence and integrity to improve public service in Samoa. 

The ceremony to welcome the Hon. Tuala and Hon. Masinalupe also coincided with celebrations prepared by the ladies of the Samoa Audit Office to celebrate the gentlemen and fathers of the Office. It began with a small prayer and devotional service conducted by representatives of the Office ladies, and ended with a feast that was also prepared for and served by the Office ladies.
